The nonprofit, volunteer-led Montour Trail Council has owned, built, and managed the trail and its infrastructure for more than 35 years.

We receive no local, state or federal dollars for trail operations and regular maintenance. And now, since National Tunnel is closed, the 60+ miles of trail are broken.
